"Azerbaijan is an important partner of the USA in the region." Pentagon

Admiral Christopher Grady, Deputy Chief of Staff of the United States Armed Forces, met with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Karim Valiev, in the Pentagon.

The military leaders discussed regional security issues and the countries' bilateral relations.

It was noted that Azerbaijan is an essential partner of the USA in the region.
