Ricker urged Armenia and Azerbaijan to take concrete steps toward creating a platform for peace

The US Embassy in Baku reported that Philip Ricker, the US State Department's Senior Adviser on Caucasus Negotiations, met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and emphasized continued US support for direct talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia as the two sides work toward a lasting peace agreement.
He quoted State Secretary Blinken's words that direct dialogue is the best way to peace. Ambassador Ricker emphasized the US support for the peace process and urged both sides to plan further negotiations and take concrete steps to create a platform for peace.
