On November 26, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken talked with Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Tilluberdi about the US's firm support for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Kazakhstan and the expanded US-Kazakhstan strategic partnership.
Blinken discussed the November 20 Kazakh presidential elections and the country's acceptance of international observers. The Secretary of State also reaffirmed the United States' support for President Tokayev's reforms and emphasized that their full implementation will be necessary for a prosperous Kazakhstan and a secure Central Asia.
