On Monday, US First Lady Jill Biden displayed the White House's holiday decorations for Christmas.
More than 150 volunteers from different states decorated the US President's residence within a week. They installed almost 80 Christmas trees and 25 wreaths and used more than 83.6 thousand lights.
The wife of the President of the United States noted that the slogan "We are the people" was chosen as the central theme of this year's decoration.
“In the last two years, I have visited almost 40 states, from villages to big cities. The Americans I have met have shown me, again and again, the spirit of our nation," said Jill Biden.
According to him, each room of the White House is decorated especially: the main Christmas tree is in the Blue Room, "candle towers" in the Red Room, decorated with Jill Biden's favorite flowers - orchids.
