The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reports that today, a telephone conversation between Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
Bayramov and Abdollahian discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda and the region's situation.
The parties noted that the recent events between the two countries should be resolved within the framework of mutual dialogue and mutual understanding.
In this regard, I mentioned the need to improve relations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs' press secretaries.
