The director of the CIA issued a "nuclear warning" to Russia in Ankara

Citing the press service of the White House, CNN confirmed the meeting between the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), William Burns, and the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin.

The director of the Central Intelligence Agency in Ankara intends to convey a message to Russia about the consequences of using nuclear weapons.

The spokesperson of the National Security Council added that the US informed Ukraine about the meeting before Burns' visit.

"We firmly adhere to our founding principle: nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine," he said.
