Kuleba announced that he would discuss the meeting with Lavrov

TACC reported that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmitry Kuleba, said at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit that he is ready to consider the possibility of a personal meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov if there is such a proposal from him.

"You are asking about Mr. Lavrov; he did not request a meeting; if he does, we will consider his proposal, taking into account all aspects and realities of the situation," Kuleba said.

Lavrov announced earlier that the Russian leadership is ready for negotiations on Ukraine. He noted that Russia is prepared to listen to the partners of the West if they offer to organize a conversation taking into account Moscow's interests. For his part, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, for his part, expressed the opinion that the negotiations on the issue of Ukraine should be conducted first with Washington.
