Today, Konstantin Zatulin, thinking that there is amnesia in the public and political field of Armenia, has given up on his words the other day, where he accused the Armenian people and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan of signing the "corridor" to Azerbaijan.

"No, I did not announce such a thing. One of the Armenian media asked me why Russia demands Armenia to open a corridor. I told you to clarify everything regarding the issue of the corridor with Nikol Pashinyan, because he takes on himself or does not take some obligations, including those related to the corridor. That's all I said about it, I didn't refer to any agreement," said Zatulin.

It should be noted that in the interview given to "Yerkir Media" TV channel, the deputy of the Russian State Duma, Konstantin Zatulin, stated in particular: "So, the questions about the possible corridor should be asked to those who signed the agreements. On the Armenian side, it was Nikol Pashinyan. What was he thinking when he signed that agreement? And why are he and the Armenians forwarding those questions to Russia? It was your prime minister who signed such a condition. So, there are different opinions about that corridor. ...My impression is that Russia is absolutely not the main interested party in the creation of that corridor. The main stakeholders are Azerbaijan and Turkey. Accordingly, Armenia should build its position, whether it needs it or not. It seems to me that we do not participate in the pressures against Armenia aimed at opening the corridor. ... If the Armenians themselves re-elect the government in 2021, why do they present demands to Russia regarding the corridor? The corridor was signed by Pashinyan. If you consider that he should continue to lead the government, what does Russia have to do with this?"

We can state that Konstantin Zatulin either has problems with his memory, or simply lies when he refuses his own words, groundless accusations and declares that he did not say such words.
