Indian private company Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd has received an export order for the supply of a batch of indigenously designed and manufactured towed 155 mm howitzers (ATAGS). This was reported by The Times of India on Thursday.
India will start exporting self-made artillery systems for the first time.
The cost of howitzers supplies will amount to 155 million dollars, which will be exported to a country "not in the conflict zone" within three years. The importing country needs to be specified.
