In the context of the 27th UN Climate Change Conference, the European Commission stated that European Union and Kazakhstan are expanding joint work in energy and raw material supply. The relevant agreement was signed by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov, on Monday, November 7.
It is said that the purpose of this agreement is to ensure the supply of certain types of raw materials and to develop production chains for the production of hydrogen and batteries without harming the environment.
