Former US President Donald Trump is "actively considering" the possibility of officially announcing his participation in the 2024 election on Monday at a rally of his supporters, reports CNN.

According to CNN, Trump wants to take credit for the victory of the Republican Party, which is expected by the results of the mid-term congressional elections scheduled for Tuesday.

"Trump is actively discussing the possibility of announcing his candidacy for the 2024 election during his rally in Ohio," the source said.
