Xavier Colomina, the special representative of NATO in the Caucasus and Central Asia, made a post on his "Twitter" microblog referring to the meeting between Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev, which took place with the mediation of the EU. The post states explicitly:
"It is good news that our partners are discussing border demarcation, which is necessary to increase security on the ground. NATO supports the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. It welcomes the EU's efforts in this direction, including hosting these talks and the recent launch of the EU observer mission."
Good news to see our partners discussing border delimitation, a must to increase security on the ground. #NATO supports the normalisation of relations between 🇦🇲 & 🇦🇿, and welcomes #EU efforts towards that end, including hosting this talks and launching recently the @EMCAP https://t.co/dzOCghxZWj
