The alliance of right-wing parties led by former Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu won Israel's extraordinary parliamentary elections.
With 97% of ballots counted, Netanyahu's right-wing religious camp has the most seats in the Knesset, 65 out of 120. According to preliminary data, the most significant number of mandates - 32 - belongs to the former prime minister's "Likud" National Freedom Party.
The second place is the party of Prime Minister Yair Lapid, Yesh Atid, which will occupy 24 seats in the parliament. For Benjamin Netanyahu, the extreme right party of Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir's "Religious Zionism" will be crucial.
It is expected to win 14 seats and become the third-largest party in the Knesset. The alliance of right-wing extremists allows Netanyahu to lead the government of Israel again.
