US State Affairs Spokesman Ned Price referred to the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace negotiations and the settlement process.
In particular, referring to the tripartite meeting in Sochi, Price said, "Of course, we were not a participant in this meeting. We don't think we should comment on that. But regarding the last part of your question, Secretary Blinken has stressed this many times, including at a meeting between the two foreign ministers in New York. We are committed to Armenian-Azerbaijani peace and negotiations.
We believe that direct dialogue is key to solving problems and achieving that lasting peace, and both countries have stated that they are striving for that peace. Thus, we will continue to engage with our partners and multilaterally through organizations in the coming months to support the discussions between Armenia and Azerbaijan."
