Dmitry Medvedev, the vice-chairman of the Russian Security Council, announced that if Ukraine wins, Russia will use nuclear weapons.
"The thesis of the Western countries is that it is impossible to allow Russia to win the war; this means that if Russia fails, then, apparently, Ukraine wins. The Kyiv regime states Ukraine's goal in the war is the return of all territories previously owned by it. This means a threat to our state's existence and Russia's collapse. And that means an occasion for the application of point 19 of the fundamentals of state policy of the Russian Federation.
And who is planning a nuclear conflict in that case? Let me know. What is this, if not the direct provocation of a world war with nuclear weapons? Let's call things by their names.
Western countries are pushing the world into a global war, and only Russia's complete and final victory is a guarantee against a worldwide conflict," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.
