Putin and Erdogan discussed the results of the tripartite meeting in Sochi

The press service of the Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The parties also discussed the results of the tripartite meeting of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan leaders in Sochi.

A thorough exchange of thoughts took place regarding the situation related to the implementation of agreements on the export of grain from the Black Sea ports. Vladimir Putin announced the reasons for Russia's decision to suspend this deal.

It is emphasized that the Kyiv regime, with the support of Western controllers, used the maritime humanitarian corridor created for the transportation of Ukrainian grain to attack the infrastructure and ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. The Russian president recalled the failure of the second part of the package agreements to unblock the export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to the world markets.

The dialogue continued on some current aspects of bilateral relations, emphasizing promising projects in the economic sphere. An agreement was reached to maintain regular bilateral contacts at different levels.
