"The issue of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh should be left to future generations." Kopirkin

Turning to the question that, according to the President of Azerbaijan, the Karabakh conflict is already history, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin answered: "In this case, I can repeat what has been repeatedly announced by the Russian authorities and President Putin himself. In our approach, the status of Nagorno-Karabakh is a question that should be left to future generations.

When acceptable conditions are formed, which will be fair for all parties,  there is no doubt that the whole settlement package should result from agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan. As for the peace treaty and its provisions, judging by the results of the Sochi meeting, some issues still need to be agreed upon, but the work on them will continue.
