Foreign Ministers of Iran and Turkey had a telephone conversation

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian stated that some enemies have tried to use the events in Iran in recent weeks to create instability and insecurity in the country.

"The enemies made efforts to prepare the ground for IS terrorism," Amirabdollahian said in a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Amir Abdollahyan expressed his condolences to the Turkish people and the government regarding the recent mine disaster.

For his part, Cavusoglu said that his country stands by Iran in the fight against terrorism.

Çavuşoğlu condemned the October 26 terrorist attack on the shrine of the city of Shiraz in the south of Iran, as a result of which 13 pilgrims were killed and 30 others were injured. Cavusoglu noted that Ankara and Tehran are two brother countries that have supported each other in good and bad times.
