Moscow and Ankara are discussing the issue of creating a gas hub in Turkey

On Monday, in an interview with "Dünya" newspaper Russian Ambassador to Ankara Aleksey Yerkhov stated that Russia and Turkey are discussing at an expert level the issue of creating an international distribution center to deliver Russian natural gas to Europe in Turkish territory.
This issue was discussed at the meeting between Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Astana on October 13, within the framework of the summit of the Forum on Cooperation and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.
