The UN, Turkey, and Ukraine agreed on the movement of grain ships without Russia

On October 31, the United Nations, Turkey, and Ukraine agreed on the movement of 14 ships in Turkish waters. They reached the agreement without Russia a day after Russia pulled out of the grain deal, banning food exports from Ukrainian ports.

Delegations from the three sides also agreed to conduct inspections of 40 ships departing on October 31, according to a joint statement. They added that the United Nations, Turkey, and Ukraine informed the Russian delegation about these plans.
