EU member states and the European Parliament have reached preliminary agreements on adopting a law that will effectively ban the sale of vehicles with internal combustion engines in the European Union from 2035. This was announced on the website of the European Parliament on Thursday, October 27.
Negotiators from the EU countries and the European Parliament must approve the new law, according to which car manufacturers must achieve a 100% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2035.
