Russia will continue mediation efforts for the signing of the peace treaty. Matvienko

President of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, Valentina Matvienko, announced that Russia would continue mediation efforts to sign a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Matvienko said at the meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova. "Russia acted and acts as a mediator and will provide support so that the two states reach the signing of the peace treaty."
She recalled yesterday's Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement at the "Valday" club, stressing. "Both Armenia and Azerbaijan should find solutions regarding border delimitation and problematic issues."
