Four persons arrested during the ongoing protests in Iran may face the death penalty.
On Tuesday, October 25, Ali Salehi, the chief prosecutor of Tehran, announced that they are accused of "mohareb" and "war against God," which is considered a grave crime under Iranian law and is punishable by death.
A total of 315 people were charged in the capital of Iran for "gathering and conspiring to undermine the country's security," "propaganda against the government," and "violation of public order and peace."
