The US Secretary of State and the President of Israel discussed Iran's role in the Ukrainian war

Ned Price, head of the press service of the US State Department, stated that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog discussed issues related to Russia's special military operation in Ukraine and Iran's influence at a meeting in Washington on Tuesday.

Colin Cole, the deputy secretary of state for political affairs, and Amir Eshel, director of the Israeli Defense Ministry, also met on Tuesday, the Pentagon said. They spoke of the joint commitment of the United States and Israel to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to counter its moves to destabilize the region and beyond.
