"We should not forget the conflicts of Armenia, Syria, Iraq, Somalia." Macron

On Sunday, speaking at the opening ceremony of the three-day inter-religious summit in Rome, French President Emmanuel Macron said, "The war in Ukraine should not make us forget other conflicts in Armenia, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, in the Middle East."

"Today, there are people who are being attacked, and on the other hand, there are leaders who have decided to attack, invade and humiliate. Remaining neutral will mean realizing that the law of the strong becomes the general law," Macron said.

Macron also added that a world based on the laws of the strong could not be legal.
