Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin considers the formation of common energy markets an urgent issue at The meeting with EAEU members. He announced this at the meeting of the EAEU intergovernmental council held in Yerevan.
The head of the Russian government said “The most important thing for all EAEU member states is the formation of common markets for gas, oil and petroleum products, as well as the power industry.”
"When they agreed to create them 10 years ago, few could have imagined what price increases were waiting for consumers all over the world," Mishustin added. He is confident that EAEU "reliably protects its participants from unjustified overestimation of the value of energy carriers, which proves the correctness of the chosen integration strategy, the implementation of previously concluded intergovernmental agreements".
