Martial law has been imposed in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at today's session of the Security Council that he signed a decree to introduce martial law in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions. He did not specify the dates of martial law. Martial law will be in effect from tomorrow, October 20.
