Moldovan authorities have not ruled out the announcement of mobilization
Mobilization may be announced in Moldova if the military operations in Ukraine reach the borders of the countries. This was announced by Anatoly Nosati, Minister of Defense of the Republic, in an interview with TVR Moldova TV channel.
"To introduce mobilization, radical changes are needed on the Ukrainian front; when military operations reach the borders of Moldova, or we notice a massive movement of armed forces in the combat zone," said the head of the department.
The minister added that the Moldovan authorities could take such a decision even if the flow of refugees from Ukraine increases.
Earlier, the president of Moldova, Maya Sandu, announced that the republic is ready to use defensive measures in case of possible encroachment on territorial integrity and sovereignty.
