"DÜNYA" newspaper, referring to the data of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkey, writes that Russia ranks second after Iran in the number of companies established in Turkey with foreign participation. From January to August inclusive, Russians established 729 companies in Turkey.
In just eight months, 86,500 companies were created in Turkey, 14,090 with foreign participation. Iran is the leader in the number of established foreign companies, with 874 companies founded by its representatives.
According to the publication, Russia has more than quadrupled its business presence in Turkey compared to 2021. A year ago, 177 companies with Russian participation were established in the country.
