Iran's oil revenues increased eight times

An official report released by Iran's government on Thursday indicated that Iran's oil revenues increased eightfold in March-August compared to last year.

The significant increase in oil revenues comes despite tough economic sanctions against the country, which target Iran's oil sector, among other sectors of the economy, to hit one of the country's primary sources of income.

The report shows that the Iranian government, led by President Ebrahim Raisi, managed to neutralize the sanctions. Statistics also show that Iran's non-oil economic growth reached 4.3% in the spring, compared to 3.1% last year.
