The explosion of the Crimean bridge disrupted the supplies of the Russian "South" group. British intelligence

A British intelligence daily report said logistical problems facing Russian forces in southern Ukraine had worsened since the Crimean bridge was damaged on October 8. Kherson's supply routes through the partially occupied Zaporizhia region are increasingly important.

Truck traffic across the Crimean bridge has been halted, large numbers of trucks have piled up on the peninsula, and Russian forces operating in southern Ukraine are likely to increase logistics flow through Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, to try to offset the problems.

Melitopol is not only the central hub of supply routes but also the place where Russian aviation is located.
