The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, engaged in charity, is working with the government of the radical movement "Taliban" within the program's framework to fight against poliomyelitis in Afghanistan. The American businessman announced this in an interview published on the website of the British newspaper "The Daily Telegraph" on Sunday evening.
Gates said that the foundation's partners met with the Taliban in Qatar but did not give details, describing such contacts as a "tough situation" given the US sanctions against the movement.
