On October 13, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, in Astana.
Ilham Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan is determined to achieve long-term peace in the region.
"We are committed to long-term peace, and we believe that we have proposed enough constructive theses to achieve this peace finally," he said.
The President of the Russian Federation noted that Russia is keeping a close eye on the settlement issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
