"Turkey wants to help to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine." Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that Turkey's goal is to reach a ceasefire in Ukraine as soon as possible. During a meeting on cooperation and trust measures in Asia in Astana, Erdogan emphasized that Ankara reached an agreement on exporting grain from Ukrainian ports and exchanging prisoners of war between Moscow and Kyiv.

"Our goal is to maintain the achieved pace, despite the difficulties in the places, and, as soon as possible, to reach a ceasefire and stop the bloodshed," Erdogan said.
