Georgia announced that the truck exploded on the Crimean bridge and did not cross the country's border

On Wednesday, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic Giorgi Kakauridze told reporters,  "The truck that exploded on the Crimean bridge did not cross the Georgian customs border,"

"Neither the truck nor any wagon filled with explosives crossed the customs border of Georgia," said Kakauridze, answering the relevant question. According to him, the country's authorities will start an investigation and "find those responsible" if "someone can justify that the truck crossed the border of Georgia."

On October 9, the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, reported that the truck's route went from Bulgaria to Georgia and then to Armenia, North Ossetia, and the Krasnodar Territory.
