"Armenian-Azerbaijani peace negotiations will remain a priority for us." Ned Price

The spokesperson of the US State Department, Ned Prass, referred to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace negotiations. “What you can expect to see in the coming weeks and months is continued American engagement, continued high-level engagement. I say this based on the results of the meeting between the ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. It was the first time the ministers had met in person since the latest escalation of violence. Yesterday you saw that the secretary had the opportunity to talk with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Phil Ricker, our senior advisor on these issues, has been in daily contact with stakeholders in both countries. So we will continue to be involved in this matter. I can't promise a specific result, but I can promise that it will remain a priority for us," stated Ned Price, the spokesperson of the US State Department, during his daily briefing.

"There is no announcement of any meeting at this time, but I'm sure we'll have more to say about this in the coming days and weeks," Price added.
