The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reported that on October 10, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security Affairs, Josep Borel.
According to the report, the parties discussed the results of the quadrilateral meeting held on October 6 in Prague between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, French President Emmanuel Macron, EU Council President Charles Michel, and RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as the situation in the region.
Borel informed Bayramov about the preparations for the EU mission. He praised the results of the Prague meeting, noting the EU's commitment to peace and stability in the region.
Bayramov, for his part, informed that the points of the peace treaty were presented to Armenia during the Geneva meeting. According to him, it is necessary to start the work on the peace agreement as soon as possible.
