Commenting on the results of the meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan within the summit's framework, he noted that it took place in a "friendly atmosphere."
"Some demands were discussed at the meeting with Pashinyan. Our foreign ministers and special representatives will meet, and we will take appropriate steps to achieve results," Erdogan said.
According to him, Turkey does not set preconditions for normalizing relations with Yerevan. "As soon as Armenia signs a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, it will not have any problems with us. Ankara strives for the early warming of relations between Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia and the settlement of disagreements between the parties," said Erdogan. The Turkish president also added that Turkey and Armenia would continue contact at the level of special representatives.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan also expressed hope that Turkey and Armenia can reach a complete settlement of relations based on the principle of neighborliness in the region.
