French President Emmanuel Macron wrote on his Facebook page, "For sustainable peace in the Caucasus, tonight, Armenia and Azerbaijan reaffirmed their loyalty to the UN Charter and the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration, by which they mutually recognize their territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Armenia agrees to contribute to establishing a civilian mission of the European Union along the border with Azerbaijan, which conforms to cooperation. This mission aims to build and invest trust in the border commissions."
