The Russian "Gazprom" concern announced on Wednesday the resumption of gas exports to Italy through the territory of Austria. The company reported that the parties found a format for cooperation in the conditions of the regulatory changes that took place in Austria at the end of September, which stopped the flow of the Tarvisio gas pipeline in the northeast of the country on October 1.
The resumption of supplies was confirmed by the Italian company "Eni." After the break, Gazprom supplied Austria's OMV with the volume of gas intended for Eni, as a result of which Austria accelerated the replenishment of its underground storage facilities.
