In his speech at the Azerbaijani National Urban Planning Forum in Aghdam, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced, "We have some optimism about the peace process."
"Recently, a few days ago, the first such meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia took place, particularly with the plan of preparing the draft peace agreement. We hope that it will not last long. We know the tactics that Armenians usually use not to reach an agreement, as happened during the 28 years of negotiations on the Karabakh conflict. If this continues, there will be no peace," Aliyev added.
