Azerbaijan strives to create a "corridor" to Nakhichevan outside the control of Armenia. Javad Hedayati announced this, Director General of Iran Transit and Road Transport Organization, in an interview with the Iranian ILNA agency.
According to him, Azerbaijan strives to open a "corridor" to Nakhichevan that Armenia does not control, without any obstacles and long-term guarantee, as well as to have a direct energy transit corridor from the Caspian Sea to Turkey. The Iranian official added that the ceasefire is unlikely to last long, so Iran should be ready for any situation.
