Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that he would have a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the evening. He intends to assess the situation around Ukraine. Earlier, Erdogan said he hoped to have a telephone conversation with Putin.
"Tonight we will have talks with Mr. Putin, and I will have the opportunity to assess the problems related to Ukraine," Erdogan said in Ankara.
