Azerbaijan should withdraw its troops from the borders of Armenia. US State Department Spokesman

Referring to the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace negotiations and the aggression of the Azerbaijani troops, the US State Department spokesman Ned Price reaffirmed the US commitment to the need to withdraw the Azerbaijani soldiers from the Armenian border. Ned Price informed about it in a press conference.

Price also reminded that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is actively involved in the process and is in contact with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as foreign ministers.

Price also reminded me about the recent meeting between Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Azeri President's Assistant Hikmet Hajiyev at US President Joe Biden's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan initiative in Washington. "We are involved at various levels, including through several channels, to reaffirm the need to de-escalate and withdraw troops," Price said.

Price also noted that the US representative in the South Caucasus, Ambassador Philip Ricker, actively participates in the process.
