On September 27, 2022, the Ambassador of Georgia, Giorgi Janjgava, met with the special representative of the Republic of Turkey, Ambassador Serdar Kilic, to normalize relations with Armenia.
It is reported that the commissioners discussed the existing processes, security problems, and solutions in the region at the meeting. The critical role of Turkey in those processes was emphasized.
During the meeting, the parties also highlighted and welcomed the initiative of the Georgian government regarding the peaceful neighborhood and the successful precedents of mediation in this matter.
