Tajikistan called to settle the situation on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan by diplomatic means.

The prime minister of Tajikistan, Kokhir Rasulzoda, speaking at the online emergency meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Collective Security Council, called for an early settlement of the situation on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan by diplomatic means.

It is noted that the Prime Minister participated in the meeting on behalf of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. Rasulzoda expressed the concern of the Tajik side regarding the escalation between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He emphasized that "it is important to prevent the further aggravation of the situation and to return the ways of solving the problems to the political and diplomatic track as soon as possible."
