The US Secretary of State had phone conversations with Pashinyan and Aliyev

The US State Department informed that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken held separate telephone talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Blinken reported official Washington's concern regarding military operations along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.  

Blinken called on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to stop hostilities and announced that Washington would insist on an immediate cessation of hostilities on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This is stated in the message of the US Foreign Ministry, Reuters agency reports.
