Bob Menendez, head of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, wrote on his Twitter microblog: "I am deeply concerned about reports of Azerbaijani attacks on the territory of Armenia."
"The shelling of Armenian cities and civilians is illegal and unacceptable. The world must resist authoritarian brutality. The US should immediately stop all security support to Azerbaijan."
It should be noted that on September 13, at 00:05, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces began to fire intensively from artillery and large-caliber rifles in the direction of Goris, Sotk and Jermuk in the direction of the Armenian positions.
