I am upset by the reports of Azerbaijan opening massive artillery fire in the direction of peaceful Armenian cities. Jackie Spear
US Congressman Jackie Spear referred to the shelling of peaceful Armenian settlements by the armed forces of Azerbaijan, stressing that Azerbaijan is shelling internationally recognized Armenian cities.
"I am upset by the reports of Azerbaijan opening mass artillery fire in the direction of peaceful Armenian cities. To be clear, these are internationally recognized Armenian cities, not disputed settlements. It is dishonest that the USA continues to provide military support to Azerbaijan," Spear wrote on her Twitter microblog.
Outraged by reports of heavy & coordinated Azeri artillery strikes on peaceful Armenian towns. To be clear: these are internationally recognized Armenian towns, NOT disputed territory. It's unconscionable that the US continues to provide Aliyev w/ military aid.
