Turkish military aviation invaded Greek airspace 52 times

The Ministry of National Defense of Greece reported that Turkish military aviation invaded Greek airspace on Monday 52 times.

"The Turkish Air Force invaded the country's airspace 52 times today. Four planes and an uncrewed aerial vehicle participated in the air border violations of the northeastern and southeastern regions of the Aegean Sea. In particular, a pair of armed F-16 fighter jets crossed Greek airspace and violated Athens' flight information zone five times. Today's violations also involved one drone, which committed 29 violations, and two CN-235s, which committed 18.

In all cases, the Turkish planes were recognized and seized by Greek fighter jets, by international rules," the Defense Department emphasized.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu once again threatened Greece for "provocative actions and creating tension in the region."
